I am the Information Technology Services Director for Egg Harbor Township School District. I have been the Director since 2011 and I have been with the Department since 2003. I have held various positions in the ITS Department ranging from Software Deployment to Network Administration. As the ITS Director I oversee the computer network, phone communication systems, student information system data and state reporting, and other various technology related support services.
Prior to my career in Information Technology, I served in the United States Coast Guard for 5 years as a an Aviation Maintenance Technician and Flight Mechanic aboard the HH-65A helicopters. The Coast Guard provided me with many opportunities, including pursuing my education. While still in the service I attained my Associates of Science in Criminal Justice through Atlantic Cape Community College. After my service, I used my GI Bill to gain training and certifications in Comptia A+, Net+, and Microsoft specialties which assisted me in entering the IT world with Hamilton Township Schools as their Technology Technician. In 2006, I completed my Bachelors of Science in Information Technology Systems from the University of Phoenix.
As the ITS Director for Egg Harbor Township School District and a Parent for a child in the District, my goal is to provide the best technology and support for the curriculum, students, staff, and parents of Egg Harbor Township School District. This includes yearly evaluations of new technology products and services, as well as existing products and services, to ensure we are maximizing tax payer funding and meeting the curriculum needs and District goals. I am always open to new suggestions and my belief is that the students, staff, and parents are my number 1 customers.
